Some massages involve the use of essential oils which serves as aromatherapy at the same time. This is one of the cures for insomnia that is very popular and very relaxing.
Other cures for insomnia that are herbal based and those that involved here are scented herbal hot baths, herbal teas, tinctures an herbal essential oils for aromatherapy or massage. Herbal cures have been around for centuries and many of these have been the basis for research regarding medicine or drugs that are used today.
More ways to help you overcome insomnia are mindset that includes thinking of the bed as somewhere to sleep not a place to do work or eat. Other cures for insomnia, include eating a light meal instead of a heavy one that could make you uncomfortable, avoid drinking caffeine laden beverages and foods, exercising at least 15 – 30 minutes per day could stimulate proper blood circulation and promote better sleeping habits and a glass of warm milk can boost serotonin levels in the brain and stimulate drowsiness.
It is always the preference of the individual which way he chooses to cure his insomnia and these are just a few of the alternative cures for insomnia available. Some of these may work for some people and not others.
